About LoveKey Church
“If you want to change the world, go home and love your family.” – Mother Theresa
The key to salvation is the revelation of how much God loves you. The key to living the life He has for you, is to love Him back. And when you truly love Him, you will obey His commandments.
LoveKey Church was founded by Heinz Winckler and his wife Aletté, and run by the LoveKey NPC board, a financial board and church eldership.
VISION / MISSION / GOALS
Vision: (Our Why)
We want to see healthy families build a healthy nation, one family at a time. Healthy families are built on healthy marriages, and healthy marriages are built on Jesus – in other words, obedient to the Word of God.
Mission: (The How)
Through worship music and uncompromised word-based preaching, our aim is to help people Encounter God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, so that they can Align with His purposes for their lives in order that they can ultimately Reign in life and Help Others to do the same.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the Bible is the infallible word of the living God. We believe in the triune God – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus is the Son of God, that he came to earth in human form by divine conception, that he was fully God and fully man while on earth, and that He came to bring salvation from sin for those who love Him, believe in Him, give their lives to Him and follow Him. We believe that He died on a cross to be our ransom for God’s righteous judgment for our sins. We believe that he died, but that on the third day He rose again, defeating death and the devil and that through that He was the ultimate sacrificial lamb for all time. He fulfilled the law for us so that through Him we may be set free from sin and eternal death. We believe that God the Father loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son so that none might perish but have eternal life in Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus ascended to heaven and that the Holy Spirit was poured out on his disciples and apostles, and that through their faithfulness and ministry, all those who believed and received the truth of the gospel message of Jesus Christ, also received the Holy Spirit. We believe that in order to receive Jesus Christ so that one can be in right standing with God the Father and become a temple of the Holy Spirit, one needs to be born again by believing that Jesus is the Son of God, that he died for our sins, was raised from the dead and sits on the right hand of God. And that that belief, that faith, leads to the old man dying and the new creation to come alive in Jesus. Then it is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me. We believe that we are called to be holy, just, righteous and perfect and that it is possible through the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit in us.
We believe that water baptism is only Biblical when it follows true salvation. And we believe that although water bapstism is no a pre-requisite for eternal life, it is an important step of faith that should follow salvation because it cleanses and empowers us in the spirit.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and that it is available to all who are saved. We believe that baptism of the Holy Spirit will lead to a life that is filled with demonstrations of the power of the Holy Spirit with the main purpose of making us effective witnesses for the gospel.
We believe that Jesus still heals people miraculously today through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the church is God’s plan for the salvation of His people. We believe the church is the ecclessia, the called out ones that assemble for the purpose of meeting with God. We believe the church is the bride of Christ and should live and behave accordingly. We believe that every born-again believer should be part of the local church and serve in the local church with their natural and spiritual gifts according to Ephesians 4.
We believe that marriage and family is God’s design and plan for humanity and that doing marriage and family His way is the right way and the best way.
We believe that Jesus will return for a pure bride and we will therefore labour in the ripe harvest for souls, and lead our people closer to God.
